Okay, quote James Loo when I talked to him, I've finally dropped all responsibilities :X
Well, sort of. Technically I have, but a chairman never stops their duty till the class disbands at the end of the year. Sucks right. Still, SLB Investiture was.....heartwarming. This was my 3rd and last one, and it does feel special to pass out.
I know this post is long, lllooooooonnnnnnggggg overdue, but it's still nice. We spent Tuesday rehearsing for the Investiture, it was boring but fffuuuunnn :D Talked alot with Chris Woo, KO, Joey and Yong Kee :D KO IS AN EVANESCENCE FAN AS WELL ^^ We realised that when we were looking at Michael's phone and we both asked him to play 'Bring Me To Life' by Evanescence~! Hee. And after rehearsals we had CMC pizza dinner :D I think that was the second and last time I had dinner with CMC in my 3 years. Sigh.
And the next day was -the- day :O We had one more round of rehearsals but got really bored waiting for the iMedia to get ready so..

And we hung about doing nothing but just talking and listening to music and taking pictures while waiting for invest to start, since Sec 4s couldn't do anything but just wait. Nor could we go entertain guests D:
When invest started, it was...well. I didn't know how to feel as I watched the excos pass their blazers on to the next batch. Maybe cause I'm not too involved in CMC (being a non-exco). But as we went downstage to receive our gifts, I felt a little..down. One was the feeling of passing out (just like in NCC), the other was the gift. It was...a slip of printed paper. With my name written on it. And printed behind is a picture of jets soaring (Theme of the invest was Soar). I was really kinda disappointed :( It's really not much to remember 3 years of being in the Chairman Board with.
And for the non-excos, we had a -little- something extra:

By the way, I actually became a class chairman in Sec 2 was because Stefan decided to saboh me into by sneakily getting everybody to vote me into becoming one. But then again, all his judgements has always been good, I had my fun in CMC :D No more morning meetings to attend now.
And yes John, I feed off the joy of taking attendance every morning :)
Walking around without a tie for a week feels surprisingly good. It's like a relief somehow. But somehow I still miss sec 2 where Wei Yang and myself followed Ivan's words to the dot and only loosened our ties -just- as we stepped out of the school gate :D
Then there was the assistant chairman's tie bet with Damien, and DAMIEN IF YOU'RE READING THIS, I WON THE BET: THE CMC MEETING WAS A TUESDAY :D and Damien owed me Joel's tie (read post from way back to see the full story of the Assistant's Tie saga :D) but it got all resolved when Damien got me a teddie named Joel wearing a bowtie. So I owed Damien a bow. Hee.
Then there was ANOTHER tie bet, this time with John, Zongda and Yeung Kai. It was a disadvantageous bet: whoever caught one another without a tie in school uniform for the 2 weeks leading up to Investiture had to treat the others to Seoul Garden.
And I was the weakest link (seeing that I alway remove my tie after school hours). So they think they could beat me. But nooo :D I found a loophole: Change out into a t-shirt after school hours =D
And Zongda found a loophole with that, quote: "Technically, you can't take off your shirt without removing your tie, so for that one moment you're in school uniform without your tie." But no, Zong, technically I can remove my shirt without taking my tie off :D Just loosen and remove head first ^^ Ha.
Even without a tie, class chairmans we shall still be :)
